Human racism is a vital problem in our society these days. From being black, white, poor, rich, skinny or fat. Either way people are racist and discrimative. The world around us challenges us to see what we really are and those in our environment. We are all racist and discrimative towards someone or a group of people because we are under the influence that we are all better than everyone else. This is due to the fact that we may feel insecure about ourselves and then take it out on others. We are all surrounded by people with different cultures, traditions, family values, different ethics, languages, colour and especially the way we are presented because people don’t take the time to acknowledge our humanity. This then leads us to racism, because we feel uncomfortable we the way certain people look and act, just because we don’t act nor look the same way they do.

The world we live in is inhabitated by many different cultures. These different worlds challenge the way we see ourselves. Many of us have become ignorant to the different cultures and no longer see them as equals, but as a lower class in comparison. Some arrogant Australians seem to judge other cultures and don't accept their traditions and beliefs. However, growing up in a multicultural society exposes us to these different cultures. It can impact our beliefs, thoughts and opinions as well as the way we carry out our daily lives. We can chose to learn about them in order to embrace and accept these different cultures.

Different cultures have different languages, different traditions and different religions. When we grow up, we are ignorant towards other cultures and we start using the word "normal". We grow up thinking that our way of living is "normal", our way of speaking is "normal", our way of dressing is "normal". And, it isn't until we open ourselves to others and the different cultures around the world, that we start to second-think our defintion of what is "normal". Not only are our physical features, languages, traditions and religions different. But our needs and wants. Some people may have lower standards of living to others from across the globe. Our living standard alters our desires. When we observe the different worlds from around the world, we are challenged to the way we see ourselves.

Different worlds challenge the way we see ourselves

Our culture influences the way you are, your characteristics, personality and identity. Everyone on earth belongs to different cultures and backgrounds and this may influence the way we interact with other people from different cultures. Often different beliefs and traditions cause people to segregate into groups with people who are similar to them. Different beliefs, traditions and cultures often challenge the way we see ourselves.

The human race is very diverse, and so often we are segregated into groups of people who are similar to us, and share in our beliefs and traditions. Everyone on earth belongs to a different culture, or different worlds, and this may influence how we interact and relate to other people of different backgrounds. Often times, individuals will not ever venture out of their own worlds, and stick with people who are like them. They grow strong in their particular values and practice the traditions with respect to their own culture or religion, and this defines their way of life. However, in many instances, individuals are faced with and array of other people from different backgrounds, and this introduces them to different perspectives and outlooks on life. And from these differences there may come conflict, discrimination and prejudice. Interrelating with other from different worlds can prove to be an extreme challenge in the way that we have to learn to accept and respects others customs, even though they may contradict our own. On the flip side of this, by encountering someone from a different world, it can allow us to open up to the varying perspectives present in the world around us, and this can present an excellent opportunity to exam the way we see ourselves, and see how we feel about other lifestyles other than our own. It may also give us the change to stand up for our own world, our life styles, customs and traditions, and share them with others, with out forcing it upon them as the only right was of life. Our personality is deeply reflective of the worlds we come from, and by involving ourselves in worlds other than our own, it gives us a chance to expand our own personal identity and share in another's.
